Atalante rather than Atalanta?

I thin Atalanta reminded a lot of people too much of Atlanta. So alternatively, what you think of the Greek version of the name Atalante?

Atalante is pronounced 'at-ah-LAN-tee' (Atalanta is 'at-ah-LAN-tah').

Which do you prefer?

Update:

I don't understand the problem. Atalanta is "ata-LAN-ta", Atlante is "ata-LAN-tee".

My best friend's sister's middle name is Atlantis, because her mother went into labour while on a cruiser ship, which at the time was passing over where the mythical lost city of Atlantis is supposed to be. True story! :P

Anyway, I LOVE your names. My favourite is Atalante, but I adore both of them!

Good luck and I hope I helped,

    xoxo

Both are just fine in my opinion. I think I might slightly prefer Atalanta. I feel like the Atalante pronunciation might be even more confusing to others (They might think it's AT-a-lant, at-a-LAN-teh)

You have sooo many gorgeous names that you like I think I might stay away from this one.

Some people are just not as bright as we might like them to be. I have found that when people do not immediately recognize a name they just go for the closest thing they think of.

I"m afraid either of those names would be assumed to be Atlanta.

I'm sorry this is only my opinion.

I think both are just too much...

Atalante reminds me of the animal Mantee...I really don't know why.
