am 47 and just had really bad break up its taking all my strength to carry on.i dont want dating sites or so called adult chat just want normal friendly chat as get so lonely when kids are in bed .help please

You can try AIM chat rooms. They have chat rooms by location you might want to try those. Otherwise you could try non-romance chat rooms on Yahoo, like the regional rooms or rooms on other themes, they have many different types of room not all of them are for people looking for dates.

they are simple IRC rooms , they don't even have webcam, I've used them people are friendly so that might be what you're looking for. Also you might want to try ICQ chat rooms maybe or even myspace chat rooms are an option.

My advice is to try as many rooms as possible and see where you feel the most comfortable.

You need to get out of your house take your kids somewhere fun......If you want internet chatting just google search for chat sites...Yahoo offers good chatrooms. Anyways dont be too sad time heals all wounds. Good luck.
