    American continent=North America and South America The North American continent= USA, Canada, Mexico, and a few little countries in central America South American continent=Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Columbia, Peru and a few more smaller countries

    Notice the answers on here... Esp. with the word "Considered".... The Caribbean Sea and Central America are actually their own continental plate wedged between North America and South America if you want to be accurate. North Americans tend to *lump* the Caribbean in with them rather than grant the Caribbean "continental status" similar to Australia + Oceania however it can be well noted that much of the Caribbean is *not* on the North American plate.

    NORTH AMERICA!!! all of the carribean is considered part of north america, and mexico down to Panama is sometimes considered North America, and it is sometimes considered central america and sometimes the carribean anddd central america are considered part of "latin america" which is a cultural region, latin america is becoming more widely used than south america these days, but if your in canada and the US i would say 99% chance it will be north america, but if it is for a spanish class or maybe even geography it can be part of latin america, it depends where you are in the world wether it is or isnt part of North America
