    unclog your pores

You have a steamer to unclog your pores. But that is only one step of a multi-step facial.

Usually you have a scrub rubbed onto your skin then your face and cleaned. Then your face is steamed to open the pores. This is then followed by extraction (black and white heads) which is easier to remove thanks to the steaming. This should not be done at home (especially if you are a newbie). Let the pros deal with it. Otherwise you can get scarring if done improperly without the right and disinfected tools. Then a mask is put on based on your skin type. A nice rest follows at least 15 minutes or so to let it sink in. Then wipe off and moisturize and you are done.

Depending on if there was an extraction or not, your face might be blotchy or red. So never do before a big event (a facial). Also all skin types react differently and are treated differently.

Steaming helps in opening up the pores in the face. The skin expands and the unwanted dirt particles can be easily removed. Then your skin can breath. The skin looks glowing and natural. It will not be oily. There would not be any problem of primple or acne if we regularly do this exercise for your face.

Face is the index of man. Because of our emotions and deep feelings, it is the face skin that is affected first. The face immediately changes to indicate the inner feelings of a person on seeing or hearing a news. So the face skin has to be looked after properly. It is the face that gives us personality. That is why it is called face lift.

It opens the pores so that dirt and sebaceous oils can be washed away. However, if you have extremely sensitive skin the heat can cause irritation or if you have oily skin it can cause an increase in oil production. So use this treatment sparingly. Once a week or less often should suffice unless you have a particularly dirty job and your face gets really dirty and stays clogged up. if you have very tight pores and skin, steaming can increase the suppleness of your skin.

listen to your skin...if it irritates or causes a problem it may not be the treatment for you. I good clean wet hot wash cloth is just as effective...just lay it on your face while you lay back in a bath...very relaxing!

The steam opens up your pores and clears away all the dirt and grime that normal face washes can't reach. Means less spots and visiable pores!

To open your pores apprently. I think then that decreases amount of spots/blackheads and makes it easier to pluck your eyebrows. They also make your face feel very fresh.

  • To open up your pores and get all the dirt and gunk out of them so they're clean.
