pretty sure that jackie chan is really into his cultural that he is keeping it alive just like the old materials art fighting styles and he may be the only one left to know how to master drunken fist
then who else will bring us great movies such as jackie chan does he puts actions @ comedy in his movies and old materials art techniques
that look cool when fighting and he is a true legend, even greater than bruce and jet since he not only created his own style of movies, but also he risked his life numerous times to demonstrate the beauty of kung fu, wing chun and many other styles.. its a shame that he got old because martial arts movies, especially his trademark will die with him and there will be no one in the future to even compete with jackie... Jackie Chan has studied several forms of Kung Fu. He has trained under GrandMaster Leung Ting in Wing Chun, (Bruce Lee also studied this) as well as Tong Long (Mantis), Bak Mei (White Eyebrow), as well as the northern Shaolin Kung Fu he learned in opera school.
He has also learned other styles of martial arts to help his screen fighting, including Hapkido, Boxing, Judo, Taekwondo and Hei Long. Jackie's personal style is a mixture of Wing Chun, Hapkido and Judo

This is what I found on yahoo.
Much of Chan's martial arts skills came from practicing the arts while at the Chinese Opera Research Institute, headed by Master Yu Jim Yuen. However, he did eventually train specifically in Hapkido, earning his blackbelt under Grandmaster Jin Pal Kim. All told, Chan has trained in Shaolin Kung-fu, Tae Kwon Do, and Hapkido.
"He took his Hapkido seriously, practicing for hours at a time," said Kim according to article at Web-vue.com. In fact, Kim noted that Chan was one of the hardest working people he'd ever been around.
If you go to Answers.com and put in "How many forms of martial arts does Jackie Chan know?" there is a "slide" file that has many more listed, including the various Kung Fu styles.
Just because Jackie Chan is an actor does not mean he don't take his martial Arts seriously.

Jackie Chan trained in the Chinese Opera thus his amazing flexibility. Jet Li is a movie martial artist/martial artist in a recent interview he admits he is not a good fighter but he can do choreography well. Bruce Lee was a trained fighter who developed his own style of martial arts that broke the mold of traditional Kung Fu. The closest fight would be Li and Lee but in the end Bruce Lee would prevail due to his training schedule and discipline.

Jitterbug... seriously? Judo and Tai Chi? Why answer?
Jackie Chan trained in "Martial Arts and gymnastics" during his youth in Peking Opera School. This was a period of about 6 to 8 years.
He isn't a master, nor does he hold any black belt rank in any Martial Arts.
It is said that he studied (while in school) mostly Wing Chun, Hapkido, and various Northern Styles of Kung Fu.
Keep in mind they taught this as a whole in basically an acting school, meaning they prepared him for great choreography with Martial Arts, not so much training to fight or even be highly proficient in one Martial Art or another, but to combine Martial Arts with acrobatics to perform high level choreography theatrically.
You will actually have a hard time running any of his background in Martial Arts down, because it is very limited, and limited to only the time he spent as a kid in a very strict and rigorous acting school.
Hope that is of help.Source(s): 20+years Martial Arts
