9mm is perhaps the most dangerous cartridge to reload. It has very high pressure, and seating a bullet to deeply in the case can dramatically raise the pressures to an unsafe level. I'm not saying that you can't reload it, heck, I did for many years and never had a problem. But youshould be aware of the possibility of over pressure. Next, never use reloading data you obtain off a chat site. there are people out there who load to unsafe pressures, as well as nut cases who give wrong data just to see you get hurt, or worse. Pick up a good current issue reloading book and follow it exactly. It's better to spend a few dollars to learn it right, than to lose a few fingers, or you life.
As for cheap brass, no such thing anymore, I'm afraid. Between the high demand for componenets to fill military needs and china buying up all the metals they can get, prices are sky high.
Try midway, cheaper than dirt, shotgun news, or look for it at yard sales etc.
