It appears that Sarah Palin is a serial liar. Should she step down considering the mountain of falsehoods...?
...that she has foisted off onto the Lower 48?
Palin routinely claims to have put an end to Alaska's infamous "bridge to nowhere," even though she supported the project during her gubernatorial campaign and turned against it only when it became a national embarrassment and Congress threatened to cut its funding.
_Palin has claimed that she put the governor's jet on the Internet auction site eBay, and McCain has said it was sold at a profit. However, the jet was never sold via eBay. It was sold, at a loss, through a broker. Palin, who owns her own plane, sold the 10 seat jet even though it was reguarly used by the prisons to transfer prisoners. The jet was very effective for cost and time considering the onerous driving required to move prisoners great distances. She is now using a 100 seat plane & staff provided by corporate sponsers.
_Palin says she eliminated the governor's chef from the state budget, yet she gave the person another job in state government.
and now recently unearthed audio tapes and e-mails make it clear she was less than honest about "troopergate"
