what is a print medium?
I'm in a journalist class and I need to know all about print mediums! Please explain specifically what they are and possibly give examples. Best answer 10 points!!! Thanks!

The print medium is the actual material the print is on. Newpaper, glossy magazine, book, paperback, trade paperback, etc.

any publication (paid or free) that uses text or pictures on paper (or the equivalent. This excludes TV, radio, PA systems, movie newsreels and any mass media that that is not "physical" or if physical (like a cassette) needs to be played or broadcast to be understood.
examples: newspapers, magazines, calenders, flyers, business cards,
mail outs (junk mail), some strange print media billboards, notices nailed to telephone polls, a sign in your yard. buttons or ribbons that can be worn.
