Honestly, I find your theory to be closest to the truth. What men find "attractive" are the things that represent an ability to birth children. Large hips, ample breasts....these are all things that are meant to show off the ability to effectively reproduce. Now, through the years, some men, not all, have evolved a bit past that. Obviously, those traits are still considered desirable, but now some men actually value personality, and compatibility with themselves. Or at least, that's how I feel, lol.
