Where can I find a side-by-side comparision of all the Civilization games by Sid Meier?
I have a Pc and a DS and i really want a Civilization game. I want to know which one is best. I would like either a website with this info or a well detailed answer written by you.
Thanks

I first played Civilization in 1991, just after its initial release. I have been playing it ever since, and I must say that each successive version has been markedly superior to its predecessor. The most recent version, Civ IV Beyond the Sword (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civilization_IV:_Beyo... is noticeably better than even Civ IV Warlords (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civ_4_warlords), and vastly preferable to Civ III (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civilization_iii) or Civ II (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civilization_ii).
In order to use Civ IV Beyond the Sword, you must first purchase and install Civilization 4 (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civilization_iv), because Beyond the Sword is an expansion pack. You need not purchase the earlier Civ 4 expansion pack, Warlords, which in any event is not as good as Beyond the Sword.
The reasons why Civ 4 Beyond the Sword is better than all previous versions include (see http://www.firaxis.com/games/game_detail.php?gamei... (1) Much higher resolution graphics; (2) better video scenarios; (3) 10 more civilizations; (4) 16 new leaders; (5) more types of military units; (6) 5 new WONDERS; (7) the addition of CORPORATIONS (Sid's Sushi Company; Mining, Inc.; Creative Jewelers, etc.); (8) expansion of ESPIONAGE activities; (9) the addition of many new random events that complicate strategic decision-making; (10) expanded details for SPACE VICTORY; (11) more AI (artificial intelligence), making victory at higher skill levels more difficult; and many other minor improvements.
