Ok I really had to think about this one.

    1. Jesse Ryder

    2. Brendon McCullum

    3. Shanan Stewart (one day he will get his break)

    4. Ross Taylor

    5. Daniel Flynn/Peter Fulton (ultinate games)

    6. Iain Robertson

    7. Grant Elliott

    8. Jacob Oram

    9. Daniel Vettori

    10. Tim Southee

    11. Michael Bates (young up and comer with a big hit)

12th:- Nathan McCullum (amazing fielder, may make it into first 11 on spinning pitches)

while I doubt anyone would choose this line up, I believe its a winning line up. I believe Aaron Redmond and Jamie How are good in tests but we have more quality top order one day batsmen then them. A new coach a new beginning.

Why do you need a 'dream' team to defeat Bangladesh ? Any way, since you asked, I would like the following:

Jesse Ryder, Brendon McCullum, Jamie How, James Marshall, Scott Styris, Grant Elliott, Jacob Oram, Daniel Vettori, Tim Southee, Kyle Mills and Michael Mason.

    12th man: LRPL Taylor.

I go by your selection except for James Marshall in place of Luteru Taylor. During the last 6 months, James Marshall got 2 matches and scored 165 runs in 2 innings. In the same time, Luteru Taylor got 21 matches and scored 473 runs in 19 innings, 7 times not out. Sometimes, good performances should be rewarded.

The 11th place I gave to Michael Mason who took 9 wickets in the last 6 matches conceding 189 runs in 228 balls. The performances of Mark Gillespie (11 matches, 525 balls, 461 runs conceded and 13 wickets), Chris Martin (11 matches, 510 balls, 407 runs conceded and 7 wickets), Jeetan Patel (7 matches, 274 balls, 222 runs and 5 wickets), Iain O'Brien (1match, 36 balls, 59 runs, 1 wicket) are not as impressive as those of Michael Mason.
