The Kurds are a sect of Islam that live in northwestern Iraq, bordering Turkey. (There are Kurds in surrounding areas as well but these are the Kurds most referred to when watching the news. ) Saddam Hussein gassed hundreds if not thousands of them during his dictatorship.

I'm Kurdish. Kurds are are an ethnic group originally in Iran, Iraq, Turkey.

They are Shia, Sunni and non-religious.

    To Pray for the Redskins:

You said it yourself, he used the gas and killed the KURDISH UPRISING. Why dont you pick gather all your friends and claim New York as your territory and kill everyone who isnt from Rhode Island. I'm pretty confident that the national guard will bomb the **** out of you.

Saddam was no angel, but he was no devil either. He was a smart leader who managed to trick the western world into giving him weapons and times he needed, but more precisely, this man was the puppet of the west. Once he realized it and tried to stand on his own, he got f*cked over royally.
