from waltham cross you will need to catch several buses to complete the journey there is nothing direct from w/x to buck.pal

it will take you over three hours using buses

from waltham x to buckingham palace--invest into a one day travelcard

and use a combination of bus/train/tube etc it'll cut your time down to about just over an hour.

take 279 from waltham x to manor house

at that stop change to a 243 bus at stop H going towards waterloo. at waterloo change again. you'll need a bus going back towards aldwych/strand over waterloo bridge--so go to lower level of waterloo near the jubilee line escalator--using bus stop outside opposite sainsburys local go on the 26 or 76 towards hackney wick or tottenham swan--you only need a 5 minute journey and get off in aldwych near waldorf hotel

walk back onto the main strand on the south side near to where theres a tesco express and small boots shop near the junction of waterloo bridge and catch a number 9 going towards hyde park corner, when the bus gets to green park tube stop/park itself in piccadilly get off and walk across green park about 5 minutes and bucks.palace is there

it will take you ages by bus---you'd be far better getting travelcard go bus to manor house tube then take tube direct to green park undeground station and just walk across green park--you will save over 2 hours in the time the bus will.

    enjoy your day out......

It will take you hours if you go by bus. Get the train into Central London and then the underground. It should take under an hour.
