MATH HOMEWORK!!!!!! best-fitting line ?

hey my home work is confusing the direction is

make a scatter plot of the data.find the equation of the best fitting line.approximate the value of y = -2

i dont no how to solve it i have a calculator my teacher taught this to the class but was going very fast can some one help me

the numbers of x are -5,-3,-1,1,2 numbers of y are 1,0,-2,-2,-3

how can use calculator to answer this

can some PLZ!!! help me i have alot of homework

    Put x numbers in list1 and y in list2

    Do Regression LinReg

    you didnt say what calc type so I cant give you syntax

    when you have your equation try to approx y=-2

    once you move a time period from one part of the = to the different the signal transformations - thats all you want to charm to close. a million. y=-3x-7 2. 4y=-2x+16 Now divide both part by 4 to get y=-0.5x+4
