    the firing (triggering angle) is the angle at which the thyristor is forced

    to conduct ,it is logically programmed.

    while the conduction angle is the total angle through which the scr conducts....

    Thank you, am also fine like you, then dear am one engineer & have an experience of 15 years in power electronics now firing is nothing but triggering.
