Flashpoint....which is now a part of the greater Zipp group....whom SRAM recently purchased...only makes carbon clincher wheels.
They are great deals....but would you ride carbon to train?
And would you race on clinchers?
They're not for me...my racing days are over and I don't want to spend the $$$ for a carbon wheel to train or do century rides.
I ride American Classic sprint 350's...a great, durable yet lightweight (1430 grams a set) climbing wheel.
Here's the Wiki Zipp link which tells the story: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zipp
