Names from the 1800's? And ideas?

I'm doing a project on the book Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. One of my assignments is to create a plot for a gothic style story. I have to have a main character and three supporting characters. I need some name ideas. My main character is a male and at least one character is a female. I thought:

Emmeline

Elizabeth

Marta

Gretchen

Margaret

But I'm at a loss for boy names. Any help would be appreciated.

My aunt who died about 10 years ago at the age of 98 was named Delsie....I always thought it was unusual and had really never heard of anyone else with that name. As for boy names Carl was poplular in the 1800's and here are a few more. Edward, Thomas, Robert.

Elizabeth, definitely. It's perfect for your story. For a boy, I'd suggest Leander, Deacon, Roderick, Buford, Bertram, Bartholomew, Barnabas, Lucian, Lucious or Gideon. Gideon sounds like it would work very well for your story.
