How much did NBC pay to broadcast the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing?
I could not find it on wikipedia.

NBC plunked down $894 million in rights fees. It announced it already has surpassed $1 billion in advertising sales and still has commercial time to sell. That's a net of at least $116 million – $32,222.22 for every hour on TV and online.

I wondered the same thing. Wow that's a lot of money. No wonder they're being such schisty a**holes and not reruning much. You can't even watch the opening ceremony on their website, all they have are pictures.
