    South East Asia ,The country is separated into two regions — Peninsular Malaysia and Malaysian Borneo — by the South China Sea. Malaysia borders Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Brunei

    The Peninsular Malaysia is north or above Singapore and

    south or bellow Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam... and

    next to Indonesia...

    But there are the Sabah and Sarawak which are also part of Malaysia are located far east of the peninsular Malaysia.

    located in south east asia.

    -if you look at the world map. malaysia is exactly located below Hong Kong/China.

    -singapore,thailand,brunei,indonesia are countries next to it.
