what is the max speed a 3.6 meg connection can download at?

my HSDPA connection is 3.6 meg but the fastest its ever downloaded at is 216KB/s and its only ever gone as fast as that once

    thats because you can only download as fast as the sites your downloading from allow. if they allowed you to max out their connection then no one else could connect

    because of fact 400kbps isn't mbps. you elect for to multiply 8 with that selection because of fact 8 bits=a million byte this is 4 hundred*8=3200kbps or 3.2mbps. And the internet restricts acquire velocity. 3mbps is the max for internet. yet for gaming, you may pass speedier.

    for a 3.6 megabit connection, you just divide by 8 and BOOM. you have your download speed in kilobytes.

    i feel for you though. we have around the same, and the max i ever get is around 320. even though technically you should be getting around (or more) what i get. that's odd....

    have seen a update for tmobile usb modems e220 where it can go up to 7.2mbps so if you are on tmobile get the update

    Well if its real max is 3.6 meg, then 360k/bytes a second.
