About Sarbanes-Oxley...

I am doing a 5 pg. report on the effects of the Act on U.S. business. What professional journals would be best to use as references?

Start with Harvard Business Review and BNET. These two both have a lot of great information and also give you a great launching point for finding further references to other sources. BNET in particular had a series of articles in the last month on SOX compliance and the impact is has had.

Try law reviews from elite law schools (Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Columbia, etc.) as well as any specific journals dealing with business law such as the Business Law Review (Miami), Journal of Corporation Law (Iowa), and the Business Law Journal (Rutgers)
