The net cost to refine a gallon or a barrel of crude of oil not including cost or tax.

A barrel of crude is refined to 19.5 gal. gas, 9 gal. fuel oil, 4 gal. jet fuel and 11 gal lubricants, kerosene, asphalt and petrochemicals, i would like to know the cost in 2008 dollars, excluding cost of a barrel and taxes?

    That isn't a simple question. different quality crudes give different costs. and the eff of the refinery certainly has an impact.- but for gasoline it costs typically about 50 cents a gallon to refine it to the current low sulfur requirements.
