I discovered Neil Young (again) and love the album "Trans" what other Neil Young should I be listening to?

I've listened to Neil before - mostly the stuff you always hear.

What other albums or songs should I be listening to after discovering the album "Trans"? Thanks.

You might consider checking out some of his older work as well. Just about every track on the "Decade" compilation is amazing: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decade_%28Neil_Young_...

    Some albums you should get:

    Comes A Time

    Everyone Know This is Nowhere

Tonight's the Night (awesome live Neil and his gritty best)

    After the Goldrush

Zuma (Cortez the Killer....what a song!)

Rust Never Sleeps and/or Live Rust

last but not least, On the Beach (IMO Neils best work ever!)

Sorry, forget Trans. Neil was pissed at his record company at the time and just put this album out (along w/a few other stinkers) to fulfill his obligation to them. I hated that album and tour....IT SUCKED!

Source(s): I've been listening to Neil for a long time, probably before you were born :P
