why am i askin but how come when you want to lose weight you cant and when you dont you do??

im just curious cause my mom wasnt lookin to lose weight and lost 10 pounds and now shes tryyin to and cant

    That's a complicated question and you haven't provided enough detail to really evaluate the situation. Sometimes people will lose weight when they get really busy, stressed, or depressed. Some people will gain weight in those same situations because they turn to eating to compensate. In both cases, they really aren't paying attention. But when you are trying to lose, you start to pay attention, but may not really be doing it right with proper nutrition and exercise.
