Guys! Can Microsoft block or do something "bad" to a comp. that they found to be running a pirated winXP Os
Cause I found that when i failed the WGA notification tool. I cant use IE or Firefox anymore without being redirected to "http-avg-url-seeker.com". I am using AVG Free for antiviral protection.

If yu fail WGA all microsoft do is put the nags up
and though the security updates will come through automatic updates you cant use windows update with the browser, or download and install any Microsoft validated products like IE7
The http-avg-url-seeker.com is another problem that I think is to do with avg

"I cant use IE or Firefox anymore without being redirected to "http-avg-url-seeker.com"".
Microsoft isn't doing this, the redirect site is. You have malware.
"i failed the WGA notification tool" If you have a legal copy of Windows, this is your PRIMARY problem. Find out WHY.
If not a legal copy, please ignore all of the above.

Microsoft connects to the internet and runs antipiracy checks all the time. I'm not sure what they DO to people when they find out Windows is a pirate copy, but they probably block it or something.
Not a good move to have a pirated Windows.. (and very strange.. Didn't your computer came with a valid install already? They all do)

well if you try to download genuine products from microsoft like if your upgrading the ie they would find out that way and stuff up your ie
