I don't know. Translation is stupid. As far as I'm concerned, forget about reading "King James Version" or whatever, because mistakes will be made in that version. Humans were not designed to be perfect, therefore, they are entitled to, and will make errors. I want to read God's version. If God created the universe, he sure as heck can create a book. Why would he ask mere humans to write his book? I am Christian myself, but I will never believe the supposed "word of God," until I see "God's version- written by God." Yeah, yeah, I hear, "If God gave the Bible to everyone, it would defeat the purpose of faith." Well, it certainly would erase doubters, so why not? So no, Christians cannot claim that the Bible is saved from corruption, because again, MERE HUMANS WROTE THE BIBLE, NOT GOD. "Oh, but God controlled them and made them write every word," I've been told time and time again. But, I ask them, why would God control humans to write the Bible, when he can write it himself? Without all these mistakes from translation. Despite what I've said, I do not intend blasphemy.
