does anyone knows why the pope prays to a black Madonna and child in the Vatican if Jesus and Mary where white

Catholic means universal.
The Catholic Church accepts all races, colors, social conditions, languages, and cultures.
The real Madonna and Child were Jews and probably had Middle Eastern features.
European artists have been depicting them as Europeans for centuries. It would be just as "right" or "wrong" to depict them as Africans.
The purpose of religious art is not to change belief.
The purpose of religious art is to inspire faith, hope, and love.
God therefore called man into existence, committing to him the craftsman's task. Through his “artistic creativity” man appears more than ever “in the image of God”, and he accomplishes this task above all in shaping the wondrous “material” of his own humanity and then exercising creative dominion over the universe which surrounds him.

Most people think, not only Jesus was White but also God. Do you think it has something to do with Michael Angelo's painting of God. Jesus was not a White Italian, as painted by Michael. He more than likely was Sudanese or Ethiopian in physical stature and looks. The reason most Whites want to believe Jesus was White is because they believe if Mother Mary was a virgin and her child was from the seed of God than whatever the color of Jesus would be the color of God. Thus Jesus being Black would imply that God, who impregnated Mary would also be Black . There is no way a White person can accept the trinity to be anything but White. However, Revelations seems to side on the Jesus and in turn, Mother Mary being of Black ancestry. To answer another statement, Israelites and Hebrew were synonymous and there are Black Hebrew in Israel. In addition, Ashkenazi are White converts to Judaism in the early 8th. Century, who current occupy Israel and are Khazars who have no bloodline to Israel. Do the research.

Because according to the Holy Bible, Jesus is definitely Black, Revelations 1:14 & 15. Read it! Mary is black, Judah is black, Moses is black. I honestly do know how people miss this, they obviously are not reading and comprehending this book.
Matthew 1:16 And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Yahushua, who is called Christ.
Luke 3 Mary was of the tribe of Judah.
Judah described in JEREMIAH 14:2 Judah mourneth, and the gates thereof languish; they are black unto the ground; and the cry of Jerusalem is gone up.
1 John 5:10 The one who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself; the one who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has given concerning His Son. John 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.. Job 30:30 says my skin is black. Daniel 10:6 describes him again.
1 John 4:3
and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world.
According to Deuteronomy 28:68, Black people fit the description. They broke the covenant whit God and have received the curses. Egypt means house of bondage and today they are still slaves in America. First it was physical, now it's mental.
The bible is not a white mans book, it is the history of black people. The white man certainly does has his place in the book. Don't believe what people say, READ IT! I recommend the KJV 1611, He was also black (Not the fairy they have lied about) and translated the book from the Original Hebrew language to English for his people.
The white face, blue eyed, devil you see in American Churches is Caesar Borgia, google it.

It doesn't really matter what she looked like. It's what's on the inside that counts. Various cultures often portray Mary to look like the people of that culture. In fact, when she appears in various countries, her race and appearance often change.
However, if you really want to know what she looked like during her earthly life, here's a description:
The bodily shape of the heavenly Queen was well proportioned and taller than is usual with other maidens of her age; yet extremely elegant and perfect in all its parts. Her face was rather more oblong than round, gracious and beautiful, without leanness or grossness; its complexion clear, yet of a slightly brownish hue; her forehead spacious yet symmetrical; her eyebrows perfectly arched; her eyes large and serious, of incredible and ineffable beauty and dovelike sweetness, dark in color with a mixture tending toward green; her nose straight and well shaped; her mouth small, with red-colored lips, neither too thin nor too thick. All the gifts of nature in Her were so symmetrical and beautiful, that no other human being ever had the like.
And here's a picture, drawn by a mystic:
(I'm referring the the picture about 2/3 of the way down the page, with the orange background, rather than the picture of the statue at the top of the page.)

Historical accuracy is important. We must know by now that according to the Greeks and Romans they got their religion from Africans. Back in the day, all Jews were black, the first Jews. We can't use current representations to determine historical accuracy. If all the white images of God, Jesus, etc. were removed or in the minority of images it would matter to white folks. History tells us that the origin of all major religions is African, thus so are the Gods, deities, etc.

Where in the Bible does it say Jesus or Mary was white?
the Bible said Jesus was a Jew, what color are the Jews in
Israel? the ones I see are dark brown.
The Bible didn't say Jesus died for the white man,or just for the black man, or for just one race but for the whole WORLD.

The Black Madonna and Child are actually Isis and Horus.

Historically speaking ...had Jesus existed in that time and region...he would have been black. The image of Jesus everyone is so familiar with is but an artist design...a white artist no doubt.
