LaGuardia Airport is closest, Newark Airport comes in secound, then JFK the 3rd.

M60 bus from LaGuardia Airport drop you off at 106th St-West End Av/Broadway six and half-block from your friend's house.

You may catch (1) at 116th, 110th Sts or hop on M104 bus to 100th-99th Sts or (1) to 103rd or 96th Sts.

From Newark Airport, purchase ticket from vending machine available in Terminal A, B, C one way $15.00 to NY Penn Station.

Take Airtrain Newark to Newark Airport, $5.50 is covered by your ticket.

Take Northeast Corridor or North Jersey Coast Line to NY Penn Station.

Soon as you exit track at 7th Av side, follow sign to (1/2/3) line and take uptown 1 local or 2/3 express to 96th St. (1) local to 103rd St.

My friend, Newark is better. The trip from EWR to New York Penn Station takes about 15 minutes by commuter rail.

From Penn Station you can take the #1, 2 or 3 subway lines (Red Line) northbound to 96th Street. The trip from Penn Station to 96th Street take about 10 to 15 minutes.

    Good luck

LGA is closest, but leaving at Newark is more enjoyable. Usually cheaper flights and more on time take offs.

LaGuardia, but Newark is easier to get to, because of the Airtrain.
