perimeter: P = 2(side 1) + 2(side 2)
P = 2(x+9) + 2x
P = 2x + 18 + 2x
P = 4x + 18 <===ANSWER
Area: A = side 1 * side 2
A = (x+9) * x
A = x^2 + 9x <===ANSWER

Based on the given data,
L = length of the rectangle = (x + 9)
W = width of the rectangel = x
Perimeter = P = 2(L + W) and substituting
L = x + 9 and W = x,
the above perimeter formula becomes
P = 2[x + (x + 9)]
P = 2(2x + 9)
For the area,
A = LW and again, substituting L = x + 9 and W = x
A = x(x + 9)
A = x^2 + 9x
