    1. I was at my house in Irvine, sitting at my computer.

    2. Nah, it was a gentle rolling quake where I was, I felt no immediate danger.

    3. Not immediately. I did call my brother shortly after, and we talked about the quake, but I had called for a different reason.

    4. I did turn on the TV, I was curious about the magnitude and epicenter, and if there was any damage anywhere.

    5. Nope, no damages.

    6. Stayed calm, I'm a Southern California native and earthquake veteran, so I knew it wasn't a really bad quake. Wheee, earthquake!

    7. 4ish.

    8. I will set up an earthquake kit in my new house, food, water, wrench, radio, etc. I should be more prepared than I am, I should know better.

    9. Earthquakes are always a reminder that geology is at work as we speak. I'm sure many people will give new thought to insurance and disaster preparedness in the wake of this quake.

Ohh I'm going to Southern CA in a few days. Are earthquakes like weather, like there can be patterns of them over a few days or weeks, or just one earthquake and an aftershock?

    Time to do some research.
