is it good to exercise when you are on your period?

i heard its good and i also heard its not good

    it is not bad, but it can give you more cramps. at least it happens to me.

    It's up to you. If it's heavy flow, you can wear a tampon while you exercise...or if you wear pads, just change it more often. If you don't feel like exercising, try some gentle exercise and then rest...you can always work out the next day instead.

    I'm not sure about all forms of exercise but I do yoga and they tell you not to do any of the positions that twist your torso or ab curls or any straining positions. Just do mostly relaxation positions. Otherwise you can cause worse bleeding.

    its good to exercise when you are on your period it helps to relieve cramps

    Yes, you can exersize when your are on the period. think of the women in sports, if everybody couldn't exerssize when they were are on their period than we sometimes wouldn't have any tennis players or basketball players etc. April
