how do you find the bases of trapezoids if you are given the following?

a. if you are given the length of base and the length of median and have to find the length of other base

b. if you are given the length of two bases and have to find the length of median

    If you know one base and the median, subtract them. If the given base is bigger than the median, subtract your answer from the median to get the other base; if the given base is smaller then the median, add the answer to the median.

    If you know both bases, add them up and then divide by 2 (i.e. find their mean [average]) to get the median.
