if youre being slapped around by a bully shouldnt you hit back?

well this happened to me last year when i was a freshman in high school. this kid slapped me in the back of the head i got mad but just kept walking, so he kept following me and slapping me. i just didnt wanna take it anymore so i hit him back twice and thats it. i didnt beat him up or anything just wanted him to stop, and he did. they say you shouldnt go to their level but i just didnt wanna take it anymore so why does it make me a bad person? are you supposed to allow someone to hit you? i dont think so. what do you think?

When the bully won't stop, it's time to put the bully in his place.

this way if the Joker(bad guy)

bat man hits back doesnt mean

he's the bad guy...did that make since?
