2001 durango vibrated when i test drove it. dealer said he replaced the bearings frontend. sound is back?

I would ask to see the service records, or even get a permit to take it to your mechanic. I work at a dealership and I know how sneaky they can try to be. Most of all, trust your instincts. If it doesnt feel right, or you are not comfortable with the purchase, then dont do it.
