will tramadol show up on a drug screen?

i have a 5 panel drug test that i have to take. i am just wondering if tramadol will show up.

    no it won't.... tramadol (ultram) is a pain receptor blocker that acts in your brain so it does not produce the common metabolites that are tested for on standard drug screens.

    Most drug screens are looking for common street drugs or their metabolites. So, you should be okay.

    Of course, the obvious question is why you are taking tramadol if it was not prescribed to you? if it was prescribed to you, the drug screen catching it doesn't matter.

    I believe Tramadol becomes a synthetic opiate when processed by the liver there for yes, it would cause you to test positive for narcotics. Be advised that most people who have taken Tramadol as a non-narcotic alturnitve say that this drug was more habit forming and harder to kick than any other opiate.
