name of movie or cartoon w/3 monsters from medieval era?

Hi everyone!

I was wondering if any of you savvy comic/animation people know about this. I thought I saw a cartoon or animated movie when I was younger with 3 monsters in it, they were kinda funny looking, one was brown and fatty...Was it my imagination? did it actually exist? please I am breaking my head trying to remember the name! it was also set like in the medieval era, had a long name sorta like : The greates tale told or something like that. PLease help i'm going nuts here!!!

Thanks, I found it!!! it is called "where the wild things are" and it was a book, made into a cartoon.
