What happen with a person who doesn't have enough sleep?

For a human be healthy a person should sleep around 7 hours, but how about sleeping less than 7 hours and not having any headache or discomfort????

If it true the less you sleep the less your organs work and you can just one day faint?

    All humans need sleep. It is an essential part of life. Some people require 9 hours, while others get by on only 5 hours. Take some time to figure out how much sleep you need to best function during the day. When sleeping the body heals and grows. Essential brain functions occur when the body is asleep. Chronic sleep deprivation will lead to fatigue, illness, and ultimately death. Yes lack of sleep can be deadly. Your organs will keep working if you have a sleep deprivation. Chronic deprivation will leave a person "rundown" and susceptible to physical maladies. If a person stays awake long enough the physical need for sleep can override all other funtions- essentially you may just fall asleep after a long enough time, no matter what you are doing.

    If u dont get enough sleep.. yes sometimes eventually u will jsut pass out or just.. become very stressed sleeping is very good for ur body at least 7 hours 8 is better... if u have sleeping problems see u doctor... for medication or pills.. sleeping is very important.. ur body can just shut down for a while... i use to work to jobs and slept maybe 4 hours or soo i did it for 3 months... after that i gave up quit everything and just needed to rest.. make sure u take vitamins so u dont get tired easliey.. but sleeping is very important.. good luck take kare and feel better

    im 78yers.old, i havent slept through the night in 30yrs.in fact im answering your question now.i went to bed 11.up at 12:30.i will be up about an hour.and back to bed.it could take me sometimes an hour to fall back to sleep.i work 8to10.hours every day.i would like to sleep more but i dont.i dont want to take any pills either.my organs work fine.and i never felt faint.
