what is a lancet used for?
can you use a lancet to pierce yourself, like with a hollow needle? For piercings? Just what is is used for?
also, can anyone reccomend a good site to buy hollow needles? For like, cheap?

A Lancet is used for medical reasons, testing blood, drawing blood, ect. It's not really of any use for peircings, it won't make a big enough hole, you should go get it proffessionally done anyway. I've heard horror stories of people who tried to do their own peircings and ended up with gnarly infections.

Lancets are not the best because they are either very short or a flat "V" shaped. they are used to puncture fingers etc to collect blood specimens so they do not make a gauged hole--more of a small slice.Source(s): PA
