Well back in the 80's I would have said it was Samantha Fox, because, well, I was a 19 year guy with MTV when her song "touch me" came out. But that was more of a visual stimulation thing than actually liking her singing. I don't know that I actually have a favorite female singer. Does Alice Cooper count?

I think Carrie Underwood is the best singer. She is very versitile to go from "Last Name" than sing a song like "All American Girl."

Kumiko Takeda of Japan is. It is difficult to choose just one. She has sung some for us, e.g. "Onara no Onara". Miyuki sings too and is pretty good. Her "Love with Wet Eyes" is on youtube. Some of Kumiko's songs may be too. The website for "cdjapan" has a big selstion of Japanese CD's. In USa CD's, I like some oldies by Cher and Carly Simon. "Cherokee" and "You're So Vain" are good in our opinion. Gloria Estefan had some we like, but I forget the titles.
