Tent only sites mean exactly what they state,"TENTS ONLY", as far as them setting up the tents for you, you have to do that yourself, you supply the tent and pitch the tent too.
They do supply electric on some sites as well as water and bathroom / shower facilities, depending on what campgrounds you choose.
Camping can be a very rewarding experience, it lets you get back to nature and all that it offers.

When a camping area has sites "only for tents". That means they do not provide the tent and they don't help set it up but it means that if you have a tent that is what is allowed at that site. Most campgrounds have this type of area.
My opinion on camping in a tent is that is it so much fun, because when u go camping the whole point of it is is that you are getting away from the busyness of home and you don't have to deal with the tv or electronics. i have gone camping now for 15 years now and i am going camping this week and i have had a blast and i am so used of camping in a tent that i could live life that way but that might get to boring after a whileSource(s):
me and my brain -
no its just the site you have to provide your own tent also bring a big tarp for the top of the tent incase it rains EVEN IF THE TENT IS WATERPROOF trust me ive benn camping for atleast 12 years now

Just the site. "Tent only" means no campers or trailers are allowed. You must provide and set up your own tent.

That is just the site.Alot of times that means there is no electric or water located at the site there is usually a water sorce located near the site for all tenters to share.
Camping nOOb, help!!?
I am new to camping, and was wondering that when they say "tent-only sites", do they also provide and set-up the tents, or is it just the site.
