Both Akebono and Konishiki have retired from the Japanese Sumo Association so I am not sure if they would be considered the biggest in the world today.

When they were active, Akebono was the tallest Sumo wrestler in the Japanese Sumo Association and Konishiki was the heaviest.

I think the current tallest wrestler in the top division of the Japanese Sumo Association is Kotooushu who is 2.03 meters tall. And, the current heaviest is Miyabiyama who is 182 kg.

Akebone was also listed at 2.03 meters tall and Konishiki weighed in at 260+ kgs. Akebono also weighed in at 230 kgs during the later part of his career which was probably the reason for all his knee problems.

Now there may have been or are still some amateur sumo wrestlers that were both taller than Akebono and heavier than Konishiki. The only example I can think of is an amateur American sumo wrestler named Emanuel Yarbrough who appears to have topped bioth Akebono and Konishiki as the world's biggest sumo wrestler.
