In my opinion, there is nothing wrong about idol worship. Nowadays, teenagers are likely to choose their own targets they identify as their idols, no matter they are superstars or not. What really makes a difference is whom they select. They should carefully select whom to imitate. If they make a right choice, this can serve as a powerful drive that motivates them to achieve their goals successfully.
