The Bible plainly states that the dead know nothing, have no memory, and have nothing to do with anything under the sun -- which is us.

Eccl. 9:5,6 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. (6) Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion forever in any thing that is done under the sun.

    God bless.

I think only God can. I am reluctant to think that others are aware of what goes on here on earth. My loving grandparents could not "rest" knowing the struggles I have lived through........that is my opinon. Just as I could not sleep peacefully tonight, knowing my child in another state had been mugged or attacked........... Others will disagree.

According to scriptures in the Bible the dead don't know what the living are doing. Not one scripture speaks of the deceased having any knowledge of us.

Job 14:21, "His sons come to honour, and he knoweth it not; and they are brought low, but he perceiveth it not of them."

A common Christian belief is that when people see ghosts that is demonic trickery to lead people into a false spirituality.

It is extremely doubtful that people now in the presence of God view life going on here on earth.

He has released them from the cares of this world; and they know that God is completely just - able to care for human beings that remain. His work of salvation through the cross of Christ is ongoing - and being that those gathered around Him are the recipients of such tender mercy, they are confidant of all that He does.

From what I hear, if you are in heaven you really don't care what goes on here... I was taught that when you enter the gates of heaven you really don't remember much. No pain, sadness, stress... not even family. Hell is another story. I know that there are angels God assigns to us but I am not too sure that it is one of our loved ones. The only Good spirit is the holy spirit. Be happy that your loved ones can't see you struggle and be sad, they had enough of their own drama to deal with right?

God knows all you do before you do it. He knew your name before your parents gave you one.
