will i give birth soon?

i am 39 weeks, on thursday my midwife told me that I was 2 cm dialated and that the head was very low...she aslo stripped my membranes and on thursday night and friday afternoon i had very big thick discharge come out when i went to the bathroom...im not sure if it was the musuc plug....

Not necessarily. My sons head was very low since 36 weeks and I had my membranes stripped at 39 weeks and I still went overdue a week. As for the discharge, it probably was your mucus plug. Good luck!!

I would walk as much as you can and do the nasty dead, that will help move things along. Wishing you a fast delivery.
