virus or blip? clicked item on ebay and screen got stripes. Re booted, no obvous problems. unseen problem?

Question

blue stripes like a pattern, different withs and hues. My music stopped, so I know it wasn't a monator problem. Does anyone know of a virus like that? Please help.

internet screen or whole screen dont sound like a virus unlikely to get one from ebay on clicking item but clicking external links can contain virus if you have a virus scanner all things should be fine
