Are there emergency medicine physicians on navy aircraft carriers?

I wasn't in the navy but I would presume that as the sick bay on a flat top is more or less an emergency room that there probably are emergency medicine technicians there. Good luck to you.Source(s): First Sergeant, US Army retrired

Yes. There's a full surgical suite and hospital, including a small ICU, on every aircraft carrier. The big-deck amphibious ships have the same setup... LHA, LHD.Source(s): Retired Chief Petty Officer
