Spark Plugs??

I've got an 03 GSX-R 1000 and I want to do the plugs on it.

My maintenance book says:

standard : NGK blah blah blah

Hot Type : NGK blah blah blah

Cold Type: NGK blah blah blah

so what does it mean and which one do I want?

I'm definitely going for performance, I live in Colorado, it's got an aftermarket radiator and extra fan so heat has never been a problem, and I've got a power commander and full exhaust, if any of that matters??

If the spark plugs look all right, with the standard heat range then replace them with the standard heat range.

If you are doing short runs around town, all day long, you may want/need a hotter plug. If you take long high-speed trips you may want a cooler plug.

I put in a standard heat range iridium plug, last time I bought plugs.

given where you live if bike is running good I would stick with a standard set of plugs
