do you need a visa to travel to the philippines??

im planning to stay in the philippines for like a year...do i need a visa?

    Yes. You can stay up to 21 days without a visa. You can get an extension at the 21 days mark for 90 an additional days at any BI office. Each 90 days you will need to extend again. Each extension will cost more than the prior one. To go a full year will cost you about $400 in fees.

    Make sure you file for your extensions on time. Do not be late. They are murder on illegal aliens over there.

    *********To attend school you'll need an education visa. Contact the Philippine embassy or one of the consulates.
