The closest you can get to Stroudsburg by train is still about 40 miles away.

If you take Amtrak from Boston to New York Penn Station. Walk out of Penn Station on the 8th Street side and hail a cab upto Port Authority or you can walk it (follow the traffic). At Port Authority, you can catch a Martz bus to Stroudsburg.

you can't. The train that use to run through Stroudsburg no longer runs! I use to go to college there!
