There was a veggie girl who you coudn't take out, She never wanted beef, she couldn't look at trout.
Her boyfriend had to run, far far away,
To escape her lectures on how Animals shouldn't pay- For:
Humans greed and hunger, for a pig on sunday night, for the chicken in their curry or a big steak with your pint.
On nights out she was singled, sitting all alone.
The 'balck sheep' of the family, to her family just a drone.
They wanted all their nutrients, they loved the taste of chicken.
The thought of the slaughter house was enough to sicken- her.
One day her pooor dog died, she cried herself all day.
And guess who was for breakfast, little jimmy ray.
Her boyfriend wasn't interested, he said calling her was dear.
On the other side of the world, he really did not care.
There was a Veggie Girl who thought killing animals was mean.
But then She died alone, from a lack of protein.

There once was a girl who cared about dogs
not just dogs, but all other animals
she was the back sheep
cos they all liked to eat meat
but all the sheep are now her friends.
I never said it'd be any good, lol!

I've messed up the MP3 tags, so I cant tell you the name of the group but I have a song called "The Sexual Politics of Meat". It's a few years old, and doesnt quite match your question (feminist, political and veggie, if thats ok), but give it a listen if you can find it.

Oh, my girlfriend is a vegetarian
Her birth sign is Aquarian
She eats carrots and peas and corn

She's as vegetarian as she can be
